First rule out the cause of Acidity then only the the remedies will work . Tea coffee , late night sleep , sedentary life style , fried reheated ,maida ,spicy ,tea, coffee are the cause of acidity . Long gap of eating skipping breakfast or late breakfast or over eating is also cause of Acidity . So you have to check what are your causes and stop that practice .

Start Taking 1/2 tea spoon Amala powder with water on empty stomach . Take coriander tea .

Hello
do not take medicines on your own decision.
For acidity you should take ayurveda treatment its more effective.
Also you will have to make lifestyle changes.
Avoid spicy food.
Indigestion if any should be corrected.
Regularize food eating timings.
Avoid fast food.
Do daily morning walk 30 mins.
Do not eat late night.
Revert back if problem is not solved will prescribe you effective ayurveda medicines.

- Skip the aerated drinks as well as the caffeine. Opt for herbal tea instead. 
- Have a glass of lukewarm water everyday. 
- Include banana, watermelon and cucumber in your daily diet. Watermelon juice is great for curing acidity. 
- Nariyal paani is known to soothe the system if you suffer from acidity. 
- Drink a glass of milk - everyday. 
- Have your last meal at least two to three hours before you hit the sack. more
